The American Balkan Chamber of Commerce’s networking reception spotlighted the importance of relationship building in furthering growth within its network while also expanding existing partnerships towards new opportunities and markets. The event was held at the New York City’s offices of Fragomen’s, a leading firm in US corporate immigration law. Speaking on behalf of the hosts, Eda Derhemi, Counsel at Fragomen, expressed gratitude for the ongoing collaboration to the Chamber’s leadership and team starting with its President Eliza Prendova, Aleksanda Miloseska, Nevila Dudaj, Nancy Kajo, Nikola Andreevski, Boban Popevski, Kiril Savovski, Aleksander Mitrevski and Thakur Aggarwal. The President of the Chamber Eliza Prendova welcomed the high level official delegations from Albania, Bosnia Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia. She recognized the unwavering support of a few Ambassadors such as Albania’s Ambassador to the US His Excellency Ervin Bushati. “Guests of honor from a few African nations are here with us tonight,” as public and private sector present new immense opportunities at the present time,” said Ms. Prendova.
Lastly, the President of North Macedonia Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova addressed the event noting that the takeaway of the post-war reality, that she is reminded of when visiting abroad and at home is the interdependency of the countries in the region. “Ultimately, protecting one another is about protecting one another,” she said.
The Chamber was founded in March 2025 as a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of trade and investment between the United States of America and all countries in the Balkan region, serving companies of all sizes, from startups to multinational corporations, providing resources and connections to succeed in both markets. The Chamber, as announced, connects American companies with emerging markets in Southeastern Europe and supports Balkan companies seeking to expand into the American market. In conversations with guests and attendees, Harry Bajraktari, President of the Bajraktari Realty Management Cooperation underscored the importance of networking and meetings that focus on new avenues for growth and partnership.

Dhoma Amerikano-Ballkanike e Tregtisë ka kënaqësinë të njoftojë përfundimin e suksesshëm të një ngjarjeje ndërkombëtare të profilit të lartë, të mbajtur më 22 shtator 2025 në Nju Jork, gjatë Asamblesë së Përgjithshme të Kombeve të Bashkuara. Ky pritje, kushtuar krerëve të delegacioneve nga Evropa Juglindore, mblodhi mbi 100 të ftuar të shquar nga skena politike dhe e biznesit global. Të pranishëm ishin disa krerë shtetesh, kryeministra, ministra, ambasadorë, diplomatë dhe liderë të lartë të biznesit nga vende të ndryshme evropiane, si dhe nga Afrika, Azia dhe Amerika.
Prania e zyrtarëve të lartë amerikanë dhe drejtorëve ekzekutivë të kompanive kryesore ndërkombëtare theksoi më tej rëndësinë strategjike të kësaj takimi për avancimin e bashkëpunimit ekonomik dhe partneriteteve globale.
