Ishte kënaqësi të merrja pjesë në ceremoninë e betimit të Kryetarit të Bordit të Ligjvënësve të Qarkut Westchester, Vedat Gashi, ku ishin të pranishëm edhe Presidenti Bill Clinton dhe Sekretarja e Shtetit Hillary Clinton, një natë e mrekullueshme për të gjithë ne.
Administrimi i betimit nga Presidenti Clinton ishte një nder i madh për patriotin Vedat Gashi. Presidenti dhe Sekretarja Clinton treguan respekt dhe dashuri të veçantë për familjen e Vedatit dhe të gjithë pjesëmarrësit nga Kosova.
Shfrytëzova këtë rast për t’i falënderuar edhe një herë për shpëtimin e popullit shqiptar nga kthetrat e barbarëve serbë.

VEDAT GASHI’S OATH ADMINISTERED BY PRESIDENT CLINTON
It was a pleasure to attend the swearing-in ceremony of the Chairman of the Westchester County Board of Legislators, Vedat Gashi, where President Bill Clinton and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton were also present, a wonderful night for all of us.
The administration of the oath by President Clinton was a great honor for the patriot Vedat Gashi. The President and Secretary showed special respect and love for Vedat’s family and all the participants from Kosova.
I took this opportunity to thank them once again for saving the Albanian people from the clutches of the Serbian barbarians.
God bless Kosova and the Albanian people!
