



This afternoon Kathleen Larkin, Director for the Balkans and Central Europe at the National Security Council and Elmi Berisha, President of the Pan Albanian Federation of America Vatra held a meeting to discuss issues regarding Kosova’s evolving security landscape in support of Kosova’s progress towards a secure democratic country on the path to greater Euro-Atlantic integration. The meeting took place at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building. Vatra President Elmi Berisha was joined by Alfons Grishaj, Deputy Chairman, Besim Malota, Treasurer, Mondi Rakaj, Executive Board Member and Kolec Ndoja, Chairman of General Council.
It comes on the heels of Mr. Berisha’s sit down with Deputy Assistant Secretary Kasanof yesterday at the State Department.
The Thursday and Friday round of meetings represent a historic achievement of Vatra’s leadership and highlight Vatra’s crucial place in advocating and advancing Albanian national interest’s.
