President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, after the inauguration ceremony, has met today with the Deputy Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs, Hoyt Yee.President Thaçi vowed Kosovo will continue to work in the dual dialogue, with the political spectrum and all non-majority communities, but also with Serbia and other countries in the region.

Kosovo’s President confirmed that the country’s relations with the United States will always be special.

Meanwhile, US Deputy Assistant Secretary, Hoyt Yee, congratulated President Thaçi on his new post, affirming the support for Kosovo.

Yee said that Kosovo can always count on the strong support of the United States.

Presidenti Thaçi takoi ndihmës-sekretarin amerikan të Shtetit, Hoyt Yee

Presidenti i Republikës së Kosovës, Hashim Thaçi, pas ceremonisë së inaugurimit, ka pritur në një takim bilateral ndihmës-sekretarin amerikan të Shtetit për Evropën dhe Eurazinë, Hoyt Yee.

Presidenti Thaçi u zotua se Kosova do të vazhdojë të punojë në dialogun e dyfishtë, me spektrin politik dhe me të gjitha komunitetet jo-shumicë, por edhe me Serbinë dhe vendet e rajonit.I pari i vendit konfirmoi se marrëdhëniet e Kosovës me SHBA-në do të jenë përherë të veçanta.Ndërkaq, ndihmës-sekretari amerikan i Shtetit, Hoyt Yee, uroi presidentin Thaçi për detyrën e re dhe rikonfirmoi përkrahjen për Kosovën.Yee tha se Kosova gjithmonë do të mund të llogarisë në përkrahjen e fuqishme të SHBA-së.
