I am humbled, grateful, and honored to announce that I am running for re-election to the Wylie City Council, Place 6.
Serving the City of Wylie has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Over the past term, I have worked every day to represent our residents with integrity, accountability, and a deep respect for the responsibility you entrusted to me. I am especially thankful for the opportunity to continue serving as Wylie City Council Place 6 , a role that has allowed me to support our city’s leadership and help guide Wylie through a period of growth and opportunity.
Wylie is more than just a fast-growing city it is a community built on families, faith, hard work, and neighbors who look out for one another. Our strength comes from people of different backgrounds coming together with a shared commitment to this city we proudly call home. I believe strongly that when we lead with respect, common sense, and collaboration, Wylie succeeds.
During my time on Council, my priorities have been clear:
• Protecting public safety and ensuring our police, fire, and first responders have the resources they need
• Supporting responsible growth and smart development that preserves Wylie’s character while planning for the future
• Practicing fiscal responsibility, being a careful steward of taxpayer dollars
• Improving infrastructure, city services, and quality of life for our residents
• Maintaining open communication and transparency, so residents always have a voice in city government
If re-elected, I will continue working to ensure that growth does not outpace infrastructure, that neighborhoods are protected, that small businesses are supported, and that Wylie remains a safe and welcoming place for families and future generations.
Leadership is about listening, showing up, and making decisions based on what is best for the community not politics, not pressure, and not personal gain. I take that responsibility seriously, and I am committed to continuing to serve with honesty, humility, and hard work.
I am deeply thankful to my family, friends, supporters, fellow council members, city staff, and most importantly the residents of Wylie for their trust and encouragement. Your support has meant everything to me, and I do not take it for granted.
I respectfully ask for your continued support and your vote so I may continue serving Wylie and representing you with pride as your Councilman and Mayor Pro Tem.
Together, we will continue building a strong, responsible, and united Wylie today and for generations to come.
With gratitude,
Gino Mulliqi
