Honorable Political Leaders and Members of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosova
We write to express our collective support for the election of Dr. Bekim Sejdiu as the next
President of the Republic of Kosova.
We have been closely following the presidential nomination process in Kosova and respectfully
urge the Assembly to elect Dr. Bekim Sejdiu. As a former diplomat and former Constitutional
Court judge, Dr. Sejdiu has the extensive experience and integrity needed to unite the country and
strengthen Kosova’s relationship with the United States.
We have had the great pleasure of working together with Dr. Sejdiu while he served as Consul
General in New York.Dr.Sejdiu played a significant role in bridging the Albanian diaspora in the
JS and Kosova. We worked tirelessly to organize cultural events, open Albanian-language
schools, and lobby for Kosova in the highest political circles in New York and Washington, D.C.
At this critical time, Kosova requires a head of state who commands deep institutional respect and
possesses a proven record of public service.
Dr. Sejdiu’s distinguished legal background and diplomatic tenure make him exceptionally
qualified to represent the state with dignity on the global stage,
To ensure a stable and prosperous future for our homeland, we respectfully urge all political parties
within the Assembly to unite and support Dr. Bekim Sejdiu’s candidacy for President of Kosova.
