Albanian Parade June 22nd

We are now in the final stages of the Parade and wanted to to update you on the logistics of the event.

Meeting Site:

We will be meeting on 43rd Street and 6th Ave. Please arrive early as we will start our program by 10:00 am.

Route:

We will be marching North on 6th Ave to 56th Street. Marching starts at

12:00 pm SHARP! The duration of the march is expected to last 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Dispersal:

Floats will turn west on 56th Street and disperse between 6th and 7th Ave

Organizations/marching people will turn east on 56th Street and disperse between 5th and 6th ave.

VIP Parking:

Both sides of the street on 44th street between 6th ave and Broadway

and both sides of the street on 51st between 6th Ave and 7th Ave.

Please note that NYPD will close 6th Avenue at 11:30am. It is important if you are driving to come in early as parking spaces are limited. Recommended time to be by the parking streets is 9:30 to 10:30am.

Please see attached VIP Parking Permit you will put this in front of your windshield and let the officer know that you have a parking permit.

We ask all the organizations and groups attending bring their banner so we can recognize each one for participation and look more organized. Also if you have traditional clothing we ask that you wear it so we can show case our wonderful costumes to the public.
