My grandfather is seen on same photo as Faik Konica…/

My name is Adam, and I’m very interested to know more (if information is available) about this “Xh. Shaqir Floqi” who was my grandfather from the village Floq near Korce, in which died early 80s at communist-camp Mammuras in which shows his strong political stand. My grandfather’s name was Xhafer, his father’s name was Shaqir, every property my grandfather owned was registered at the old kadastra in Korce with Xhafer first then his fathers first name and then family name at the end. The family name have been changed by the communists (in which didnt know that 80 years later we would have software with facial-recognition detecting % of similarity) and thats how I found this photo, after hearing my fathers unbelievable stories about grandfather in USA.. my father escaped the regimes punishment in the early 50s in which had him expelled and even today the socialist party wont recognize my died fathers body who escaped Albania to Sweden.

Here I am now with 2 boys, who will one day ask me for clues like I asked my father who couldn’t see his parents for their last 30 year of lifetime. History is very important because I lived 30 years without knowing any family in Albania.. now there isnt one soul who dont know my grandfather from Floq to Korce, except my soul who is full of hearsay with only this tangible photo and the one taken before his death. I would like to forward my sons the real history, not just the hearsay or the want-to-hear-say. Please help me, thankful for any informative reply.
