MINISTRY OF INTERIOR: POLITICAL PARTIES SHOULD KEEP FROM INTIMIDATING STATE POLICE

June 23, 2013 by dgreca

We call on all the political parties to distance themselves from any kind of intimidation towards the State Police and let the blue uniforms and the justice shade light on the Laç incident and at the same time let the citizens freely express their choice in these elections.”/

The Ministry of Interior, in a press release, said it considers the accusations made towards the State Police as unacceptable. It states, “Blue uniforms have been and will continue to be committed in the protection of law, of public safety and security and fully engaged in securing non-stop the proceeding of the voting process.

State Police are currently investigating the grave incident that happened in Laç as well as every other minor incident. Attacks against the blue uniforms on the day of the elections represent a clear attempt to spoil the voting process and any kind of insinuation in this regard is simply an act against the State.

We call on all the political parties to distance themselves from any kind of intimidation towards the State Police and let the blue uniforms and the justice shade light on the Laç incident and at the same time let the citizens freely express their choice in these elections.”
