I am writing to inform you that Fordham’s decision to bestow an honorary degree upon Anastasios Janullatos is viewed as an insult to Albanians throughout the world.
You should be aware that the wide majority of Albanians in Albania and among our Diaspora consider Col. Janullatos to be an interloper and provocateur. We know him as an agent of Greek belligerents who seek the further annexation of southern Albania by Greece and who remain unapologetic for human rights violations committed upon Albanians.
Albanians have a simple message for Janullatos: leave the Albanian Orthodox Church in the hands of Albanians where it belongs!
