Steven Lulushi passed away Yesterday 5/28/2017, at age 32./

The son of a fugitive from the communist regime, which even a five years old could not endure; Steven, on his mother’s arms, went over the fences of the Italian Embassy in Tirana in July 1990, then, crossed the sea and the ocean and came In the US, where his father was.His hopes were big that one day he would be healed and walked like everyone else. He was suffering from cerebral palsy, which is not a disease, but due to neglect of doctors at birth.

He tried, struggled, fought, endured, but unsuccessfully. In the end, in the difficult situation of the defeat, he removed the wheelchair away, laid down on his bed and finaly “walked” to the end of the road of his life, fled, switched the world.

Biri i nje te arratisuri nga regjimi komunist, edhe ai vete sikur nuk duroi dhe kur ishte vetem 5 vjec, hypur ne krahet e nenes, kaperceu muret e ambasades italiane ne Tirane ne korrik 1990, kaloi det e oqean, dhe erdhi per t’u bashkuar me babain e tij ne SHBA. 

Shpresa e tij ishte e madhe se nje dite do te sherohej e do te ecte si te gjithe. Ai vuante nga cerebral polsy, qe nuk eshte semundje, por pasoje e neglizhences se mjekeve gjate lindjes. 

U perpoq, duroi, por pa sukses. Me ne fund gjendja e veshtire e mposhti, hoqi menjeane karrocen e invalidit, u shtri ne shtrat dhe mberriti ne fundin e rruges se jetes, iku, nderroi jete.
