Celebrated international dancer and choreographer Jurgen Balajoined the prestigious dance studio Arthur Murray Broadway in New York as a professional dancer and instructor. He is the winner of the First Place (category rhythm) and Third Place (category smooth) Championships that took place in Washington in December 2019.

“Moving from Tirana to New York I thought it would be tough at the beginning, but I found myself right at home at Arthur Murray Broadway. I have a huge respect and admiration for Arthur Murray, a wonderful way to connect and for aspiring dancers to express their talent professionally. Overall, the experiences here in New York and in United States in general have helped me grow as an artist, seeing new places, making new friends, and experiencing different roles,” said the talented dancer Jurgen Bala for the Sun Newspaper.

Jurgen has been actively involved in the field of dance education and arts. Jurgen Bala currently works as a dance instructor at Arthur Murray in New York and continues to dance and compete at dance championships. He has worked closely with the most celebrated VIPs and artists, with appearances in popular TV shows such as X-Factor, Dance with Me and Dancing with the Stars Albania, where he was chosen as Top 3 Finalist.

Jurgen Bala’s professional dance career began in ballet and he has danced with ballet companies in theUnited States and Albania. Jurgen is a graduate of the University of Fine Arts in Tirana in Choreography, where he earned both his bachelor and master’s degree. Jurgen trained with the highly respected Professional Ballet School in Tirana.
