KFOR COMMANDER VISITS THE JOINT REGIONAL DETACHMENTS

Pristina, September 2015/ KFOR Commander, Major General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta, met the troops on the ground belonging to the Joint Regional Detachments (JRDs), placed throughout Kosovo.

The current KFOR posture includes three Joint Regional Detachments (JRDs), covering different areas, from the North to the South: JRD-North HQ in Novo Selo, at “Camp Marechal de Lattre de Tassigny”, JRD-Centre HQ in Pristina, at “Camp Film City” and JRD-South HQ in Prizren, at “Camp Sultan Murat”.

Certainly KFOR posture is shaped in accordance with the security situation on the ground, remaining strongly committed to maintain a safe and secure environment and freedom of movement all over the Kosovo.

The JRDs, operating with non-kinetic assets named Liaison and Monitoring Teams (LMTs), provide KFOR with a “situational awareness”, through a liaison activity with the local institutions, International Organizations and especially with the local population. They conduct daily monitoring activities in order to get the pulse of economic, social and political situation.

All this kind of activities contributes significantly to improve the relationships among all the communities of the area but also to foster the citizens’ credibility towards KFOR.

With no doubts, the level of security throughout Kosovo, perceived by the local population, is considerably increased.

General Miglietta, during his visits, expressed appreciation for the high professionalism and the outstanding job performed by the soldiers of JRDs encouraging them to continue keeping the way of “Shaping the Change”.

KOSOVË-KOMANDANTI I KFOR-IT VIZITON DETASHMENTET E PËRBASHKËTA RAJONALE

 Prishtinë, shtator 2015/ Komandanti i KFOR-it, Gjeneral Major Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta, u takua me trupat në terren të Detashmenteve të Përbashkëta Rajonale (DPR), të vendosura në tërë Kosovën.

Pozicioni  aktual i KFOR-it përfshinë tre Detashmente të Përbashkëta Rajonale (DPR), të cilat mbulojnë hapësira të ndryshme, nga veriu në jug: DPR-Veri me seli në Novosellë në “Camp Marechal de Lattre de Tassigny”, DPR-Qendra me seli në Prishtinë në “Camp Film City” dhe DPR-Jug me seli në Prizren në “Camp Sulltan Murat”.

Padyshim që pozicioni i KFOR-it është formuar në përputhje me situatën e sigurisë në terren, duke mbetur i fuqimisht i përkushtuar për të ruajtur një ambient të qetë dhe të sigurt dhe lirinë e lëvizjes në mbarë Kosovën.

DPR-të, të cilat operojnë me asete jo-kinetike të quajtura Ekipet e Ndërlidhjes dhe Monitorimit, sigurojnë KFOR-in me “vetëdijësim të situatës”, përmes një aktiviteti të ndërlidhjes me institucionet lokale, organizatat ndërkombëtare dhe veçanërisht me popullsinë lokale. Ata kryejnë aktivitetet e përditshme të monitorimit në mënyrë që të marrin pulsin e situatës ekonomike, sociale dhe politike.

Të gjitha këto lloje të aktiviteteve kontribuojnë ndjeshëm në përmirësimin e marrëdhënieve midis të gjitha komuniteteve të zonës, por edhe për të inkurajuar besueshmërinë e qytetarëve ndaj KFOR-it.

Pa dyshim, niveli i sigurisë në tërë Kosovën, nga perspektiva e popullsisë lokale, është rritur dukshëm, thekson njoftimi derguar nga KFOR.

Gjenerali Miglietta, gjatë vizitave të tij, shprehu vlerësimin e tij për profesionalizmin e lartë dhe punën e jashtëzakonshme të kryer nga ushtarët e DPR-së, duke i inkurajuar që të vazhdojnë ta mbajnë rrugën e “Formësimit të ndryshimit”./b.j/

KFOR COMMANDER MEETS MITROVICA-SOUTH MAYOR

Gjenerali Miglietta: Prania e KFOR-it, shumë e rëndësishme për qytetarët e Mitrovicës dhe tërë Kosovës/

Pristina, 17 September 2015. KFOR Commander, Major General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta, met today the Mayor of Mitrovica South, Mr Hagim Bahtiri, in the City Hall of the town.

They discussed on the security and economic prospects for improving living conditions in Mitrovica with specific focus on the South.

Mayor Bahtiri expressed gratitude to General Miglietta for the presence of KFOR, and the impartial and effective effort in favour of peace.

“We have worked hard, together with leaders of the new municipality in the north to improve the security situation, mobility and freedom of movement of people and goods and to improve interethnic relations. Thanks to this work, but also to communication, cooperation and support that we had from the Commander of peacekeepers – KFOR in northern Kosovo, today throughout Mitrovica we have a much relaxed situation, which is moving with firm steps towards full stabilization”, Mr Bahtiri said.

On the other hand, General Miglietta confirmed the fully commitment of KFOR soldiers in promoting a stable and tolerant environment in Mitrovica. The General also highlighted the importance to conduct a constructive dialogue and a fruitful cooperation between the Mitrovica South and North municipalities aimed to guarantee an economic and social development.

General Miglietta stated that “KFOR’s presence here is very important for the citizens of Mitrovica and the whole Kosovo too.”

Gjenerali Miglietta: Prania e KFOR-it, shumë e rëndësishme për qytetarët e Mitrovicës dhe tërë Kosovës

–Komandanti i KFOR-it takon kryetarin e komunës së Mitrovicës së jugut–

Nga Behlul Jashari/ PRISHTINË, 17  Shtator  2015/ Komandanti i KFOR-it, Gjeneralmajori Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta, konfirmoi zotimin e plotë të ushtarëve të KFOR-it në promovimin e mjedisit të qëndrueshëm dhe tolerant në Mitrovicë. Gjenerali gjithashtu nënvizoi rëndësinë e realizimit të dialogut konstruktiv dhe bashkëpunimit të frytshëm në mes të komunës së Mitrovicës së jugut me atë të veriut me synim të garantimit të zhvillimit ekonomik dhe social.

Gjenerali Miglietta tha se “prania e KFOR-it këtu është shumë e rëndësishme për qytetarët e Mitrovicës dhe tërë Kosovës”.

Komandanti i KFOR-it, Gjeneralmajori Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta, takoi sot kryetarin e komunës së Mitrovicës së jugut, Agim Bahtiri, në objektin e komunës në këtë qytet.

Ata diskutuan gjendjen e sigurisë dhe perspektivën ekonomike për përmirësimin e kushteve të jetesës në Mitrovicë, me fokus të veçantë në jug, thekson njoftimi dërguar nga KFOR.

Kryetari Bahtiri falënderoi Gjeneralin Miglietta për praninë e KFOR-it dhe për punën efektive dhe të paanshme në favor të paqes.

“Kemi punuar shumë, bashkë me drejtuesit e komunës së re në veri të qytetit, që situata e sigurisë, lëvizja dhe qarkullimi i lirë i njerëzve dhe mallrave, si dhe raportet ndëretnike të përmirësohen. Falë kësaj pune, por edhe komunikimit, bashkëpunimit dhe mbështetjes që kemi pas nga komandanti i paqeruajtësve të KFOR-it për veriun e Kosovës, sot në tërë Mitrovicën kemi një situatë shumë më të relaksuar, e cila po shkon me hapa të sigurt drejt stabilizimit të plotë”, tha  Bahtiri.
