Në vijim të traditës së Vatrës në 109 vitet e ekzistencës së saj, sot, e Premte 22 Janar 2021, Kryetari i Federatës Panshqiptare të Amerikës”VATRA”, z.Elmi Berisha,i  nisi një letër uruese Presidentit të 46 të Shteteve të Bashkuara të Amerikës, z. JOSEPH R.BIDEN,JR. Kryetari i Vatrës,doli sot në selinë e Vatrës enkas për të nënshkruar letrën, edhe pse ai ende nuk është shëruar plotësisht nga COVID-19.

           Në letrën e urimit z. Berisha, në emër të organizatës më të vjetër të Shqiptarëve të Amerikës,”VATRA”, e themeluar që më 1912(28 Prill),i përcjell urimet më të sinqerta Presidentit Biden dhe zëvendës/Presidentes Harris. Kryetari i Vatrës ka vlerësuar edhe një herë kontributin e veçantë të z. Biden për shqiptarët, veçanërisht për Kosovën. Ai ka shprehur besimin se edhe në të ardhmen, gjatë mandatit të Tij, Presidenti Biden dhe adminsitrata që drejton, do të forcojnë marrëdhëniet midis vendeve tona,do të avancojnë proceset Euro-Atlantike, Integrimin Europaian, finalizimin e njohjes reciproke midis Serbisë dhe Kosovës me kufijtë ekzistues, do të arrijnë ç’rrënjosjen e korrupsionit dhe rindërtimin e institucioneve të qëndrushme demokratike etj….

 Dear Mr. President,

Allow me to offer sincere congratulations to you and Vice President Harris on behalf of the Pan-Albanian Federation of America VATRA. I wish to assure you that the community of Albanians in the US and all the Albanian lands appreciate this opportune moment represented by a leader like you who have demonstrated your support and advocacy for the Albanian people.

Today, as in the past, we pledge our commitment of friendship and immense gratitude to the United States whose role has been crucial to matters of most importance to Albanians who live in Kosova, Albania and all the Albanian lands. 

I am convinced that your administration will strengthen the relations between our countries and that Albanians have cause to celebrate and be hopeful for the future.

VATRA is a well-established organization going back 109 years. It is not affiliated with any political party and is dedicated to pursuing the national interests of all Albanians. You, Mr. President, are proficient in issues of concern to Albanians. From serving in the Senate to serving as Vice-President, Albanians have believed and relied on your informed expertise and diplomatic skills, driven by the pursuit of justice and faith. The present challenges are daunting and include carrying out of reforms, advancing the Euro Atlantic processes and European integration, finalizing mutual recognition between Serbia and Kosova with existing borders, rooting out corruption and rebuilding Albanian government institutions that are sustainable and trustworthy.

We recognize the difficult odds we face, but we also acknowledge the importance of having a trusted friend and ally on our side. That is You, Mr. President. You have been a proponent of Kosova’s freedom and independence. In the days ahead, there is no doubt that your administration will be a promoter of friendship and mutual cooperations with our countries.

Once again, The Pan-Albanian Federation of America VATRA extends its warmest wishes to you, Mr. President, and is confident in your support for Albanians and the Albanian national interests.
