The experience of the Preteni family who witnessed the devastation of the Kosovo war is captured in the new music “Piano” by KAS. The memories of the Kosovo war shaped young Kastriot Preteni, a conflict that is not forgotten among Albanians today. The memories recounted in “Piano” serve as a reminder for KAS that his family survived and reveal how his grandfather was shot and wounded.

 “This is my first video shot in my home country, and this seemed like the only right theme to do,” said KAS. “We shouldn’t forget the past, but we shouldn’t live with hate in the future,” he added.

The music video “Piano” was shot in Mitrovicë, Kosovo in Shalë area in August 2013. The lyrics are written by KAS, beat by Don C, Swedish producer and the music video is directed by Dardan Jashari. Kastriot Preteni blew Albania away with his powerful performance at Top Fest in March 2013 with the song “Ndjehem Mirë”. KAS received praise from the fans as one of the best performances of the season of Top Fest.

Kastriot Preteni is popularly known to his music fans as KAS. He was born on July 1992 in Sweden and at age one moved to Norway with his family. KAS is making a name in hip hop music for his innovative style, lyrical skills, and amazing original music videos.

KAS is born to be on stage. His electrifying live performances have brought out fans from all over the world during his successful shows in Norway and Kosovo. KAS’ loyal fans expand to US, Canada, Germany, Albania and most of Europe.

In 2013 KAS released the music video of the much talked about song “Product of Society”. The video is an original concept of KAS, and was directed and shot by Ufollow Movement in Sandefjord, Norway. His previous successful single and video “Imma Get My Piece” was shot in Paris, France in December 2011.
