VATRA’S EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION/

 Vatra’s Educational Foundation is currently accepting scholarship applications for the academic year 2012-2013.  Vatra has been providing financial support in the form of scholarship to hundreds of Albanian American students during the last fifty years. This year, Vatra will offer 5 scholarships of up to $1,100.

CRITERIA TO APPLY:

 

1. Must be of Albanian descent.
2. Be enrolled as a full time student at a college/university at the time of application.
3. Priority will be given to member of Vatra and their children/grandchildren.

 

NECESSARY DOCUMENTS

1. Scholarship Application Form
2. An official transcript to be sealed and sent together with the application.
3. Two letters of recommendation by individuals who have known you at least one year. One of the recommendations must be written by a teacher/professor.
4. A personal statement on the topic of what you hope to accomplish in your field of study, not to exceed one page (8 ½  x 11, single-spaced).

DEADLINE AND SUBMISSION

 

All required documents must be received in one package by January 15, 2013.  Recipients of awards will be notified by January 30, 2013. Forward all documentation to:
