SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 4, 2016 BATTERY PARK, NYC Celebrate MOTHER TERESA “Daughter of Albania, Mother of the World” /

August 2016/On behalf of Assemblyman Mark Gjonaj and our partnering organizations, we are reaching out to you for your support as we put together the upcoming Celebration of Mother Teresa’s Canonization on Sunday, September 4th. The Canonization Mass held in Vatican City by Pope Francis, will be simulcast at Battery Park in NYC, near the Castle Clinton National Museum at 4:00am EST.

The all day, family friendly event, open to the public, will feature a mass, live entertainment, dancing, games /activities, food and giveaways for the entire family as well as vendors and exhibitors. A Statue of Mother Teresa will be unveiled at the event and will be displayed in all five NYC boroughs and Westchester County.

We are asking that you invite your organization and any of your contacts to join us to make this historic event even more special. We are also accepting any monetary support as well. All proceeds will go to the event and the Mother Teresa statues which will be placed in ALL five NYC boroughs & Westchester County. All Donations are tax deductible.

About Mother Teresa (August 26, 1910 – September 5, 1997) Born Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu in Albania, Mother Teresa was the founder of the Order of the Missionaries of Charity, a Roman Catholic congregation of women dedicated to helping the poor. She moved to Calcutta, India in 1929 and taught for 17 years and eventually became a citizen of India. In 1946, Mother Teresa experienced her “call within a call” to devote herself to caring for the sick and poor. In 1979, she received the Nobel Peace Prize for her humanitarian work. She died on September 5, 1997 and was beatified in October 2003.

New York 19 Gusht 2016-Mbrëmjen e së Enjtes në Bronx, New York, u mbajt edhe një takim i disa komisioneve të cilët po punojë pa ndërpreje për organizimin madhështor të Festimit të Shenjtërimit të Nënës Tereze që do bëhet në Battery Park në Manhattan me datën 4 Shtator 2016 në ditën e Shenjtërimit të Nënës Tereze në Vatikan. Njëkohësisht me ngjarjen ne Vatikan, komuniteti shqiptar i NewYork-ut me rrethe, në bashkëpunim me Asambleistin MarkGjonaj si dhe përkrahjen e te gjitha institucioneve fetare të komunitetit tone si kisha katolike shqiptare, dhe qendrat fetare shqiptare te besimin mysliman dhe atij ortodoks, dhe te gjitha shoqatat e komunitetit po bëjnë përgatitjet finale qe ky manifestim te jetë sa ma i fuqishëm dhe madheshtor. Nga 4 Shatori nobelistja e jone Nena Tereze do te jete shenjtëresha e tere njerezimit.

Nderkohe qe grupe shqiptaro-Ameriekanesh jane pergatitur per te udhetuar drejt Romes per te qene te pranishem ne diten e shenjte et shenjterimit te Nene Terezes. Nje grup i madh eshet organizuar nga Kisha Katolike Shqiptare”Zoja e Shkodres” ne Nju Jork, nje grup tjeter nga Liga Qytetare Shqiptaro-Amerikane, po ahstu nga Kishat e tjera Katolike Shqiptare ne Detroit.

“Bijtë e Shqipes” në Filadelfia nderojnë pilotët dëshmorë në Shqipëri

Para disa ditësh, në Bazën Ajrore Farkë u zhvillua ceremonia e shpërndarjes së certifikatave dhe boceteve të Shqiponjës për dy dëshmorët e Atdheut, Kapiten Florian Delia dhe toger Donald Hoxha, nga shoqata “Bijtë e Shqipes”, me seli në Filadelfia, SHBA. Në këtë ceremoni përkujtimore morën pjesë Komandanti i Bazës Ajrore Farkë, Kolonel Kuto Hasani, Kryetari i shoqatës “Familjet e Dëshmorëve të Aviacionit”, zoti Kujtim Serani, Kryetari i shoqatës “Bijtë e Shqipes”, dega Filadelfia, zoti Tajar Domi, Zvëndëskryetari, zoti Haki Kollaku, familjarë të dëshmorëve dhe të ftuar të tjerë. Fillimisht, Komandanti i Bazës Ajrore, Kolonel Kuto Hasani, falenderoi organizatorët e ceremonisë dhe përfaqësuesit e shoqatës “Bijtë e Shqipes”, Filadelfia, për vëmendjen dhe interesin e kushtuar ndaj dy pilotëve të rënë në krye të detyrës. Më pas zotërinjtë Tajar Domi dhe Haki Kollaku në emër të komunitetit shqiptaro-amerikan të Filadelfias, shprehën ngushëllimet e tyre për humbjen e pazvëndësueshme të dy bijve të rënë në krye të detyrës. Ata në shenjë respekti, mirënjohje dhe vlerësimi për dy pilotët e rënë gjatë zbatimit të detyrës, i dhanë familjarëve të tyre “Certifikatën e mirënjohjes”,{Pas vdekjes}, shoqëruar me kokën e shqiponjës me motivacionin: “Kryesia e shoqatës Atdhetare –Kulturore, Bijtë e Shqipes, Filadelfia, SHBA. Të gjithë anëtarët e saj dhe bashkëatdhetarët e tjerë, përulen me nderim para jetës dhe rënies në krye të detyrës të dy pilotëve të Forcave të Armatosura Shqiptare. Mirënjohja jonë për veprën e tyre, bashkohet me atë të popopullit shqiptar, të afërmit e tyre, shokëve dhe miqve, kolegëve ushtarakë në trojet shqiptare dhe jashtë tyre. I paharuar qoftë kujtimi i tyre!”, shkruhet në bocetin e dhënë nga kjo shoqatë. {Sh.Kërcelli}

Komuniteti shqiptar i New Yorkut vazhdon përgatitjet për Festimin e Shenjtërimit të Nenës Tereze

Me 4 Shtator në Vatikan behet shenjtërimi i Nenës Tereze, është kjo një datë dhe ditë historike për kombin shqiptar, është ky një moment ku nobelistja shqiptare do të shenjtërohet dhe qe nga ajo ditë do ta quajmë shenjtëresha Nëna Tereze

Me vlerësimin e lart që do i bahet Nënës Tereze do te çmohet dhe respektohet i tërë kombi shqiptar.

Komuniteti shqiptar në SHBA, ne bashkëpunim me asambleistin Mark Gjonaj do organizojnë një Manifestim madhështor në New York me datën 4 Shtator 2016, duke filluar nga ora 4 e mëngjesit paralel me manifestimin ne Vatikan, duke ua bërë me dije të gjithëve se Nëna Tereze me gjak është shqiptare dhe i përket tërë njerëzimit.

Me këtë rast janë duke u bërë përgatitjet përfundimtare për vendosjen e shtatores së nënës Tereze po te njëjtën dite ne një nga parqet shtetërore ne Manhatan, NY, njëkohësisht parashihet vendosja edhe disa shtatoreve tjera në te gjitha bashkitë e New Yorkut . Për realizimin e këtij projekt me karakter kombëtar kërkohet edhe përkrahja dhe mbështetja financiare e komunitetit tonë.
