Profesor Sami Repishti i ka derguar redaksise se Diellit nje poezi, e cila titullohet “BABAI IM”. Dergesa shoqerohet me kete shenim: “Eshte nje poezi e publikuar ne revisten kosovare “Zeri i Rinise”, nr. 10, me date 8 mars 1980….E lexova , u preka shume per sensitivitetin e djalit shkrimtar, dhe e perktheva anglisht.Nese e vlen, do te deshirojsha shume te botohet ne dy versionet. Falemnderit!/Te fala

Baba i im
asnji herë nuk shkroi poezi
s’deshi a s’pati kohë
por në fëtyrën e tij
mund të lexojsh elegji
të shkruara nga plumbat
në lëkurën pergament
Baba i im
s’deshi a s’pati kohë
po edhe ato vite lufte
s’e lanë të shkruaj poezi
ushtruan të tjerët
të shkruajnë me plumba
në lëkurën e tij….

My daddy
had no desire
nor time
to ever write poetry
Behold!
riddled with bullets
elegies could be read
on his parched-skin face
My daddy had no desire
nor time
the years of war slipped by
giving him no chance to try
while others with bullets
stubbornly apply
their writing skills
on his parched skin.
