The Pan Albanian Federation of America “VATRA”, along with all Albanians and well-wishers around the globe, rejoice in the release of Ramush Haradinaj and welcome the just decision of the court in Colmar, France.

With this decision, the French courts have refused to be Serbia’s accomplice in its unending quest to destabilize Kosova and the entire region, and its efforts to delegitimize Kosova’s war for freedom and the survival of its oppressed and persecuted people.

We can only hope that after four arrests on the baseless grounds of a politically motivated Serbian arrest warrant and after four subsequent acquittals, Mr. Haradinaj will be left in peace to care for his family and serve the people.

Civilized nations should not honor illegitimate Serbian warrants, and Serbia must stop stoking the flames with these types of arrest warrants aimed at KLA veterans and Kosova state officials.
