New York – The fresh new face in film and entertainment Emira Berisha is on the rise to becoming the Best New Talent. A star of the stage and musicals she is certainly making a big impression in New York as best female actress.

Emira has been acting since she was seven years old. She launched a successful acting career when she landed a main role in the reputable play of Roland Uruci “Invitation to Marriage”. She made her debut on the world stage as “Leila” and she was well received for her outstanding performance.

She then went on to deliver best performance in the comedy drama “Made in Amerika” directed by the visionary Orges Bakalli, where she played lead role “Drita”.

“Emira Berisha is a phenomenal actor,” said director Orges Bakalli. “She brings amazing talent and uniqueness to the character. I couldn’t have asked for a better female lead in my film. She nailed her role”, he added.

“I truly loved working on the set of Made in Amerika with the talented Emira Berisha. I think she is an amazing actress. This lead role just confirmed the level of professionalism she portrays, sophistication and passion in her craft,” said the wonderful Artan Telqiu, who co-stars in the film with Emira.

Long before she appeared on stage and on TV Emira Berisha was winning hearts playing the flute at prestigious recital halls in Europe.  As a classical musician star Emira Berisha became famous giving spectacular concerts in filled out auditoriums and concert halls, making special appearances in Kosovo.

Emira Berisha moved to New York City to pursue a successful career as actress. Emira Berisha was born in 1985 in Prizren, Kosovo. She was raised in a lovely big family with four other siblings. Childhood is her favorite time of her life, she says, and that is thanks to her wonderful parents (Rexhmidin and Resmije Berisha) for making that happen. Her family has been very supportive of her acting career since her early on performances as a young child.

“Ever since I was 7 years old I knew I wanted to perform and entertain others. New York City has confirmed my passion of acting and I am blessed to have been part of amazing and successful opportunities. I look forward to the new exciting projects the future holds for me,” said the extraordinary actress, Emira Berisha.
