Presidentja e Kosovës, mesazh shprese për bashkëpunimin e botës demokratike për ruajtjen e paqes

PRISHTINË, 11 Mars 2022-Gazeta DIELLI/ Presidenca e Kosovës dërgoi sot këtë komunikatë:
Presidentja Osmani në Forumin Diplomatik të Antalisë: Bashkëpunimi rajonal dhe global, mundëson paqen dhe stabilitetin. Presidentja e Republikës së Kosovës, Vjosa Osmani në kuadër të punimeve të Forumit Diplomatik të Antalisë, sot ka marrë pjesë në panelin e liderëve ku u diskutua për temën “Rrugët rajonale dhe globale drejt paqes dhe prosperitetit”.
Sipas Presidentes Osmani, paqja dhe prosperiteti janë të lidhura ngushtë dhe parakushte për një shoqëri progresive e të zhvilluar.
“Një mjedis paqësor dhe i begatë është çelës për çdo shoqëri, sepse ndikon në të gjitha aspektet e zhvillimit shoqëror të një vendi”, ka theksuar Presidentja Osmani. Por, sipas saj, qëllimet e tilla asnjë vend nuk mund t`i arrijë i vetëm.
“Vendosja e bashkëpunimit rajonal dhe global do ta mundësojë paqen dhe stabilitetin, i cili favorizon zhvillimin ekonomik, prosperitetin dhe përparimin”, është shprehur Presidentja Osmani.
Në këtë kontekst, Presidentja Osmani ka potencuar se rajoni i Ballkanit Perëndimor domosdoshmërisht duhet t`i bashkohet strukturave euroatlantike. Më tej, Presidentja Osmani ka thënë se e vetmja mundësi për ta ruajtur paqen është komunikimi i qartë dhe i drejtpërdrejt, megjithëse sipas saj, paqja është gjithnjë e kërcënuar.
“Përkundër përparimit të jashtëzakonshëm që ka bërë Kosova si shtet, por edhe kontinenti ynë, sot të gjithë i shohim qartë kërcënimet ndaj paqes dhe sigurisë, të cilat janë të vazhdueshme dhe aktive”, është shprehur Presidentja Osmani.
Diskutimin e saj, Presidentja Osmani e përmbylli me një mesazh shprese për bashkëpunimin e botës demokratike për ruajtjen e paqes: “Ashtu siç u mblodh bota demokratike për t’i dhënë fund vuajtjeve dhe gjenocidit në Kosovë në 1999, jam e sigurt që këtë do ta shohim edhe në rastin e Ukrainës dhe kudo tjetër në botë ku ka luftë dhe vuajtje”.

Remarks by Ambassador Ferit Hoxha at the Security Council meeting on Ukraine

Let me thank USG Di Carlo and USG Nakamitsu, for their information.I would like to make the following points:First, we meet at the request of Russia following its allegations on a possible program of development of biological weapons in Ukraine. We listened carefully to their statement.Madame President,Any issue regarding weapons of mass destruction should never be taken lightly.As we just heard from the USG, the United Nations is not aware of any of the alleged programs inconsistent with international treaty obligations, including on chemical or biological weapons. We heard about health facilities in Ukraine.We have heard, repeatedly, a firm rebuttal, at the highest levels, from both the US and Ukraine. Therefore, we view Russia’s allegations as part of an information warfare, false, unsubstantiated, and part of the usual propaganda and the disinformation coming from Russia. Conspiracy theories that are not worth our time.The Council should not be served with fantasies and starry-eyed stories, but with proof, independently verified and corroborated. This is not the case.However regrettable all this is, it is hardly surprising since everything, absolutely everything, we have heard from Russia regarding Ukraine has been false, fabricated, and distorted.These are in the public space and do not deserve mention, but the “Palme d’Or” goes to the Russian declaration, just two days ago, according to which, Russia claimed it had not attacked Ukraine. Well, as we saw last week, the UN General Assembly has a different account.In every other situation, everyone would have thought this is a joke, except for the fact that this “joke” is destroying a country, is killing civilians and is responsible for more than 2.5 million refugees and counting. That translates to 7 thousand people per hour! Reportedly, this is also responsible for the death of several thousand Russian soldiers, but this is an issue for Russia and its people. All the more reasons for an immediate ceasefire to leave a place to negotiations.Second, Madam President, Russia has a long and well-documented track record of using chemical weapons, including in attempted assassinations and in poisoning its citizens, like the jailed opposition leader, Alexey Navalny, or the Skripals. Bellingcat reporting has brilliantly been able to make a direct and irrefutable link of the attempted deadly poisoning with the GRU high officials.We should, therefore, be very worried that in spreading such disinformation, a crescendo of allegations about weapons of mass destruction, could serve as yet another pretext for Russia to prepare the ground and use chemical or biological weapons during its ongoing invasion of Ukraine, while accusing others.After all, Russia has accused Ukraine of Genocide in Donbas, which is ridiculous; it has also accused Kyiv of seeking to produce nuclear weapons, which is outrageous; and it has accused Ukraine of bombarding its own cities, which is preposterous.As we have heard many times here, including yesterday, Russia has and continues to support the regime of Bashar al-Assad in Syria, which has used chemical weapons against the civilian population.Dear Colleagues,What should retain our attention and deserves our time, is the escalating situation that is wreaking two countries, threatening a whole continent, and disrupting the entire world. 15 days into this brutal invasion and the growing armored might of Russia, with the open complicity of Belarus, has stalled before the steel-clad and indisputable right of a nation to defend its land.Russia’s goals are as abhorrent as the means it is using to achieve them. We are horrified by the catastrophic situation in Mariupol and other inhumanly besieged cities where civilians are starved; by the use of cluster ammunition and in urban areas; by the redoubling of blind shelling and bombardments; by more than 26 assaults on various health-related facilities and/or ambulances as confirmed by WHO; and by the outrageous and immoral acts which constitute war crimes.Nothing seems to be going as planned in Ukraine. The unprovoked, unjustified and premeditated act of aggression by Russia, with the complicity of Belarus, lacks any legal or moral ground. They are the very ones that, in turn, empower Ukrainians to fight heroically, be ready to die for the ideals they believe in, for the right to choose who they want to be, and to be the shapers of their own destiny. In this respect, we welcome the conclusions of the European Council, which, among others, welcomed the will of Ukraine to join the European Union. We are warm-hearted by the Ukrainian resistance, incomprehensible to the invader, and which should be seen as an inspiration and a reminder that freedom prevails over tyranny.Let us not forget: if Russia makes its way into Ukraine, it will not stop there, it will want more. History reminds us, aggression works like a drug.This is why David must and will prevail. Thank you.

Ravesa Bajo, histori suksesi në Nju-Jork

Historitë e suksesit të shqiptarëve nëpër botë nuk janë të pakta, dhe këtë herë do sjellim një histori të Ravesa Bajos, e cila me suksesin e saj bën krenar çdo shqiptar. Një vajzë e re me endrra të mëdha , me një bukuri tipike mesdhetare, dhe inteligjente, e cila vjen nga një familje intelektuale. – Ravesa rrugëtimin e saj të deritanishëm i’a dedikon prindërve, veçanërisht të atit të saj z. Hasan Bajo një emër i njohur i letërsisë shqipe, ku ka sjellë dhe ai vetë vepra dhe botime në treg për lexuesit. Pavarësisht sfidave, dhe vështirësive që I është dashur të përballet personalisht ajo dhe familja e saj nuk kanë qënë aspak të lehta, sepse Ravesa i ka mbijetuar trazirave civile të vitit 1997 në Shqipëri dhe të ndikuar personalisht nga lufta civile, Ravesa dhe familja e saj u pranuan ne Paris, Francë me azil politik. – Ndersa në Në moshën tetëmbëdhjetë vjeçare, ajo emigroi në Shtetet e Bashkuara dhe ndoqi Universitetin “John Jay”, si pjesë e sistemit të Universitetit të qytetit të Nju Jorkut, dhe u diplomua me një diplomë Bachelor të Arteve në degën Shkenca Politike. – Ravesa Bajo, në muajin shkurt 2022, emërohet Drejtoreshë Ekzekutive e Iniciativave Politike dhe Projekteve Speciale për Zyrën e Kryetarit të Bashkisë për Çështjen e Imigrantëve. Një shqiptare që është pjesë e kabinetit të Bashkisë së Nju-Jorkut, ku i janë besuar projekte kryesore për të ofruar shërbime kritike për popullsinë prej 3 milion emigrantësh dhe refugjatësh dhe promovon integrimin në jetën qytetare, ekonomike dhe kulturore të qytetit të Nju Jorkut. Më parë, Ravesa shërbeu si Këshilltare e Lartë e Politikave për Zëvendës Kryetarin e Bashkisë për Operacionet në Zyrën e Kryetarit të Qytetit të Nju Jorkut, duke mbikëqyrur agjensitë kryesore të qytetit që mbulojnë shërbimet thelbësore ditore për 8.8 milion Nju Jorkez, duke u fokusuar që nga marsi 2020 në koordinimin e reagimit emergjent të qytetit të Nju Jorkut ndaj pandemisë COVID-19. Për më tepër, Ravesa ka udhëhequr një portofol iniciativash me ndikim në fushat e mundësive ekonomike, barazisë arsimore dhe reformës së imigracionit. Ravesa ka mbrojtur gjithashtu riintegrimin e suksesshëm të të rinjve të përfshirë në sistemin e qytetit të Nju Jorkut, ka punuar në edukimin dhe fuqizimin e studentëve të paprivilegjuar në South Side dhe West Side Chicago, si dhe ka kryer kërkime ligjore në fushat e identifikimit të dëshmitarëve dhe aksesit në testimin e ADN-së në çështje gjyqësore per dënimin me vdekje në SHBA.

MIRASH IVANAJ (12 MARS 1891 – 22 Shtator 1953)

– A e more vesh, mor ti?- Jo mor zotni, ç’ka me marr vesh?- Je i dënuar me 7 vjet burg!- Po për ç’ka jam dënue mor zotni?- Për agjitacion e propagandë kundër pushtetit popullor.- Po unë sa kam ardhë prej Turqie, s’kam fole me njeri, përveç punës arsimore.- Po me atë mendim ke ardhur prej andej që të bësh propagandë.- Po pse a ka ligje në botë zotni, që të dënojë mendimin?- Mbylle gojën se je i dënuar!Me keto dialogje, pjese e farses bolshevike, regjimi dënoi me 7 vjet heqje lirie krye reformatorin e arsimit kombëtar, Mirash Ivanajn…Jeta e mjeruar dhe puna shumë e rëndë në burg si përkthyes sollën degradimin e shpejtë të shëndetit të Mirash Ivanajt. Thuhet se disa javë para ditës së lirimit nga burgu ai i ka dërguar drejtorit një letër ku i kërkonte atij ta mbante në burg se nuk kishte ku të shkonte për të banuar dhe nuk kishte asnjë të ardhur për të jetuar. Por, i dërrmuar nga puna e rëndë dhe kushtet e tmerrshme të burgut, më 22 shtator të vitit 1953, 12 ditë para mbarimit të afatit të dënimit të tij, mbylli sytë për jetë. U shua ne spitalin e Tiranes, pas nje nderhyrjeje te thjeshte kirurgjikale, në moshën 62 vjeçare.Asnje mekat politik…intelektual klasi dhe patriot i vendit te tij. Shkrimtar, eseist, mesues, publicist, humanist…U largua nga Shqiperia ne vitin 1939 duke refuzuar pushtimin fashist te vendit. I lauruar ne Rome per Filozofi dhe Jurisprudence, Ivanaj ishte edhe nje poliglot me plot 7 gjuhe te “gjalla” dhe tre te “vdekura”.”Mekati” i vetem… i preu bursen ne kohen qe ishte Minister i Arsimit “ngelsit” Enver Hoxha…Thuhet qe kur Mirash Ivanaj u kthye ne Shqiperi u prit nga vete Enver Hoxha, i cili me stilin e tij thumbues i thote : “Shiko si po te presim… jo si ty qe me hoqe bursen”Mund te qendronte ne Turqi. Por erdhi per te bere Shqiperine… dhe u denua nga gjykata e teneqexhinjve dhe harbuteve provinciale.Në këtë mënyrë Shqipëria humbi ministrin me reformator te Arsimit qe ka patur ndonjehere ne historine 110 vjecare te shtetit shqiptar.Per ironi te fatit, asokohe, Minister i Arsimit ishte nje nga katilet e gjyqeve te pasluftes…Bedri Spahiu.Vdiste i vrare Mirash Ivanaj…dhe arsimin e “reformonte” Bedri Spahiu… dhe populli liridashes dhe arsimdashes “kendonte”:”Dridhen armiqtePorsi miuI gjykon Bedri Spahiu”Nje nga keta “armiq” ishte edhe Mirash Ivanaj…dhe “krimi” i tij ishte sepse donte Shqiperine…

Ermal “The Sniper” Hadribeaj is coming to New York City

On March 18th, 2022, the Super Welterweight attraction will be Ermal competing against Hevinson Herrera. Tickets are available at TICKETMASTER.com. The doors open at 7pm. In two short years of his boxing career, he has become the WBC Mediterranean Champion and the WBC North American Champion. Ermal Hadribeaj’s results speak for themselves.  He has 12 wins and 6 of them by KO.  He has 0 losses.  And has earned two titles respectively, WBC Mediterranean Champion and WBC North American Champion. Whoever can attend the match in New York City should. Everything you will witness in Ermal’s fighting performance is a combination of all he has invested throughout his life.  When Ermal is in the ring, he does not lose his focus — he possesses and controls the ring, he blocks out all the noise around him.  

From the moment he walks in, the videos and the music he chooses create a festive and celebratory feeling, but he looks straight ahead with focus.  Of course, Albanian regalia and Albanian music fills the ring.  He keeps going…. towards The Ring.  He starts fighting and does not lose focus.  He remains standing even during his breaks.  Does not sit… Then he wins.  He does his flip up in the air as everyone cheers his victory.  

In his journey with his trainer, Donato De Martiis, Ermal felt very responsible right from the beginning.  Unlike anybody else, Ermal had to earn the trust of his trainer in many ways as he was not the usual boxer, for a multitude of reasons.  He had no amateur experience in boxing, so he had to give his maximum effort 24/7, show up every day and always be on time.  He followed his trainer’s advice and respected his time and dedication to Ermal.  When the two of them met, Donato had retired from the world of training and sort of resigned, as some of the people he had trained had created disappointment.  He put Ermal on a training schedule but that was all.  It was during the first match in New Orleans that their relationship transformed into a trusting one, where both realized the other’s commitment was real.  After the first 2-3 matches a strong relationship formed and Donato became the biggest supporter of Ermal on many levels.  He truly cares for Ermal and works daily with Ermal.
