Thursday – US Ambassador Jeffrey Hovenier and Vatra President Elmi Berisha had a phone conversation today in Prishtina, Kosovo. The call comes after their meeting last month in New York.
Mr. Berisha officially extended his congratulations to the Ambassador along with wishes for success in his new endeavor.
Vatra President reiterated the importance of a close cooperation with regard to the developments in Prishtina.
Mr. Berisha expressed appreciation that Ambassador Hovenier can draw on the wealth of experience that he has gained in the region during his foreign service postings.
Both agreed to work closely and in a spirit of mutual trust in different areas of Albanian-American investments in Kosovo.
Importantly, on the call, Mr. Berisha reinforced the commitment that the Pan-Albanian Federation of America Vatra is on the same page with the policies of US Department of State.
