The Board of Directors of The Pan-Albanian Federation of America VATRA (THE HEARTH), held a meeting today at the organization’s headquarters in New York, where its discussion focused primarily on a reported statement by the Prime Minster of Albania that “Donald Trump is a threat to America and, no doubt, a threat to Albanian-American ties.” According to The New York Times and other media sources, Mr. Rama was speaking at a talk show Thursday evening on Kosovo’s private television channel Klan Kosova, when he said that Trump’s election would bring “major damage” to the U.S. and would also be “a real threat to Albanian-American ties”.
The Prime Minister’s statement was unanimously condemned by the Board Members, as irresponsible and out of touch with reality. Intentionally or not, he interferes in the electoral process of the U.S. He also seems to ignore the fact that the friendly Albanian-American ties were established a long time ago and have been progressively strengthened, especially around the time of World War I, when President Woodrow Wilson saved Albania from further partitioning by the European Allies. The credit goes both ways: on one side, the reputation of Albanian Americans who showed love and loyalty to this Country and intensive lobbying, particularly by Bishop Fan Noli, Faik Konitza and others on behalf of Albania; on the other side, the spirit of democracy and compassion for the small nations and for human rights of the people of the United States. This has been a continuous pattern since its inception over a century ago and it will continue unabatedly for the foreseeable future.
In addition, Mr. Rama should know that the friendship of the United States towards Albania is bipartisan, as it has been demonstrated in the past and in recent times; and Albania is the one who enjoys a greater benefit from its relationship with the United States, not the other way around!
During the dreadful communist rule, the Albanian diaspora in America and elsewhere in the Free World, particularly VATRA, has been the true voice of the Albanian people and has maintained and strengthened friendly ties with the American people, as opposed to the official voice of the communist party that gave birth to the party that Mr. Rama chairs today.
We know that whoever wins the presidential election will maintain strong friendly ties with Albania. At the same time, we want to assure Mr. Trump and other candidates, that the Albanian people everywhere will remain friendly and pro-American as always, regardless of who occupies the White House.

Veprimtarite e planifikuara per Faik Konicen, (perfshire edhe botimin e dy romaneve te sjelle ne shqip nga studiuesi Fotaq Andrea), kane edhe nje kosto financiare, qe duhet te perftohet nga angazhimi i cdo vatrani, por qe duhet ta marrin ne dore edhe kryesite e degeve.Cdo aksion e nisme e qendres eshte edhe per deget. Keshtu ka qene rregulli perhere ne Vater.

Keto dite ne arkivin e Vatres mberriti koleksioni i Gazetes Kombetare”Vullnetari”, qe nisi publikimin me 18 Shkurt 1916 dhe vijoi botimi per nje periudhe 2 vjecare. GAZETA kishte botues dhe editor vatranin Kol P Rodhe, nje vatran besnik, nje atdhetar qe dha shume ceshtjen Kombetare. Ai ishte kryetar i Shoqates Besa-Besen, shoqates kryesore, nje nga shtyllat e krijimit te Vatres, nje organizator i palodhur i Shoqates “Arsimi”, nje nder kontributoret e rendesisishem ne Fushaten per shpetimin e Shqiperise, organizuar nga Vatra. Kole Rodhe si shume vatrane te tjere lane Ameriken dhe shkuan qe t’i sherbejne Shqiperise. Si shume vatrane te tjere u ndeshkua me burg. Me propozimin e Vatres, Kole Rodhe u dekorua nga Presidenti i Shqiperise z. Bujar Nishani.
Koleksionin e Gazetes “Vullnetari” ne Vater e dhuroi i nipi i Kol Rodhes, z. Emil Nace, qe jeton ne Chikago, te cilin e falenderojme publikisht. Ne numrin e ardhshem te Gazetes Dielli do te botojme nje speciale rreth kesaj gazete.

Ne vazhden e punes dhe angazhimin e Rinise se Vatres te Shtunen me 2 Prill 2016, u mblodh grupi i Rinise se Vatres prane Selise se Vatres , per te diskutuar se si mund te bashkepunojme me shume per te ndihmuar te rinjte Shqiptare ne integrimin sa me te shpejte ne jeten amerikane . Takimin e drejtori Kryetari i Rinise se Vatres z. Saimir Dashi, kryetari i Rinise per Vatren z Faruk Krasniqi- sekretar e Rinise se Vatres. Ishin te pranishem edhe nje grup anetaresh qe jane te gatshem te japin kontribut maksimal per te ndihmuar njeri tjetrin ketu ne Nju Jork si Fitim Krasniqi , Ked FortuZi , Elidon Lamnica , Lorenc Dekaj , Saimir Burgaj , Alen Aliaj.
Ne kete takim u vendos qe te krijohet web siti i Rinise se Vatres, qe do te sherbeje si pike kontakti dhe informacioni per shume te rinj e te reja Qe Jane aktualisht ne USA e per Ato Te rinj Qe vijne nga gjitha trojet Shqiptare . Ideja jone eshte qe cdo informacion pozitiv te implementohet me qellim qe sa me shume te rinj te perfitojne nga informacioni, te shkembehen ide per te rritur frymen e ndihmes ne komunitet . U vendos qe te krijohet nje blog komunikimi me qellim qe Rinia e profesionisteve Shqiptare ketu ne NY te jete me e angazhuar dhe secili nga ne te jape nje kontribut konkret me ndihme reale per punesimin e shqiptareve ne cdo fushe, ku ne kemi akses . Individi i fuqishem krijon shtetin e fuqishem. Edhe ne duhet ta kemi parim te zhvillimit kete moto te Kennedit. Ne si grup rinor kemi shume kualitete profesionale, biznesmene e njerez qe do japin ndihme konkrete ne punesim , berjen e rezymeve sipas formatit akdemik, training apo edukim per procesin e blerjes se nje shpie ne NY , trainime te ndryshme ne lidhje me aplikimin per tu futur ne sistemin arsimor ketu ne NY.
Ne synojme Qe te krijojme nje sistem te plote informacioni me gjithe anetaret qe kemi ne cdo fushe e te japim asistencen e duhur per te lehtesuar periudhen e veshtire te shqiptareve te rinj qe kane ardhur se fundi e per te ndihmuar edhe Shqipetaret qe kane me shume kohe ketu. Nese arrijme te bashkojme keta faktoret, keta individe te sukseshem, atehere ia kemi arritur qellimit tone . Keto takime do mbahen cdo dy jave per te ndjekur e per te arritur projekte konkrete ne zbatimin e idete se Rinise se Vatres . Synimi yne eshte te zgjerohemi Sa me shume ne anetaresi per te krijuar nje network sa me te madh e ku cdo i ri ta gjeje veten prane Vatres .
Sa me shume ide , mendime e veprime pozitive te kordinuara per nje qellim te caktuar aq me shume Lobi Shqiptar do te zhvillohet dhe te gjithe ne do ta kemi me te Lehte qe te cajme ne rrugen e gjate e te pafund te suksesit e te gjithe ne do jemi krenare nje dite per keto vendime qe kemi marre sot.
Te rinj, bashkohuni me Rinine e Vatres, me qellim qe t’ia bejme me te lehte njeri tjetrin jeten ne mergim, te integrohemi, pa e harruar identitetin tone Kombetar!
