DECLARATION OF THE AMERICAN PAN-ALBANIAN FEDERATION “VATRA”/

The Pan-Albanian Federation of America VATRA has followed with a high interest the issue of transferring the US Embassy the United States Embassy to Jerusalem and has supported President Trump’s stance without any reservations.

Vatra Federation, its supporters and sympathizers in the US and around the world have felt extremely disappointed by the Government of the Republic of Albania’s vote of disapproval of the resolution presented at the UN.

The “NO vote” to the US by the Prime Minister Edi Rama is not only ingratitude for the American support stretching from the state-building period of Albania up to date as well as the crucial role of the US in the creation and the recognizing process of the Republic of Kosovo, it also sends a disgracefully unsettling message to the continuity of the relations between the US and Albania. Voting down the US by the Albanian Government is the second public act by the Prime Minister Edi Rama.
