Kosova president Hashim Thaci indicted for war crimes

A Hague-based special prosecutor has filed an indictment against Kosova President Hashim Thaci and nine others for murders and other war crimes. Thaci was set to attend a key US summit with Serbian leaders this weekend.

Kosovo president Hashim Thaci and nine other former militants were indicted for war crimes by the Office of the Special Prosecutor in the Hague on Wednesday.

They are “responsible for nearly 100 murders,” according to the prosecutors at the EU-backed Kosovo Specialist Chamber. The victims included Kosovar Albanians, Serb and Roma people, with political opponents also targeted, according to the officials.

The group also faces charges of torture, persecution, and enforced disappearance.

The officials described the indictment as “the result of a lengthy investigation” adding that the effort reflected the SPO’s “determination that it can prove all of the charges beyond a reasonable doubt.”

The court officials noted also that the indictment was “only an accusation.” A pre-trial judge is currently reviewing it “to decide on whether to confirm the charges.”

The 52-year-old Thaci, like many other present-day Kosovo politicians, played a prominent role in the resistance movement that pitted ethnic Albanians against Serbs in what was then a Serbian province.

Less than a year ago, Kosovo’s Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj resigned after he was summoned by the same court on suspicion of war crimes.

Fears of violence

DW’s correspondent from the Serb-dominated northern Kosova, Milica Andric Rakic, described the announcement as “probably the single most shocking event since Kosovo unilaterally declared independence” in 2008.

While the legal move itself was expected, it is the prosecutor’s timing — just ahead of Thaci’s visit to Washington — that carries the impact, she added.

“Thaci will use any last power lever at his disposal to stop the Court, like he tried to do in December 2015 with the attempt at abolishing the Law on the Specialist Chamber,” she said. She warned that the move might also spark protests by former militants that could escalate into “ethnic violence.”

Thaci pulls out of US meeting

Thaci canceled his trip to the top-level meeting with Serbian representatives in Washington DC after the announcement.

US representative and former Berlin envoy Richard Grenell said respected he Thaci’s decision to stay away “until the legal issues of those allegations are settled.”

The meeting will still go ahead with Serbian strongman Aleksandar Vucic and Kosovo’s Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti. Unlike Thaci, who is one of the most powerful and most experienced Kosovo politicians, Hoti only took power last month.

Ethnic conflict

The ethnically-charged conflict culminated with NATO intervening to support the separatist movement and launching a 78-day bombing campaign against Serbian targets in Kosovo and across Serbia.

In the following years, Kosovo war crimes were prosecuted before the now-defunct International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in The Hague. The court has now been replaced by the Kosovo Specialist Chamber, an EU-backed body set up in 2015 and also based in The Hague. The Chamber is ruled by Kosovo law, but funded by the EU and staffed by international judges and prosecutors.

The prosecutors said the charges were laid in April before being publicly unveiled on Wednesday. The announcement comes just days before top Serbian and Kosovo officials are meeting in Washington on Saturday for a long-awaited round of dialogue. Thaci was also set to attend the Washington summit.

Many Balkan and international observers view the Washington summit as the key step in the ultimate resolution of the conflict. Serbia still does not recognize Kosovo independence.

Professor Florian Bieber, a political analyst at Graz University’s Center for Southeast European Studies, described the dialogue as “in shambles.”

While Thaci faces a war crimes indictment, Serbia’s Vucic is “ruling without opposition.”

“Whoever thinks that a durable solution can be found with these partners is seriously delusional,” he wrote on Twitter.

Thaci’s ‘secret campaign’ against the court

Despite operating for years and summoning hundreds of witnesses, this is the first indictment ever issued by the Chamber’s prosecutor. The office also accused Thaci and another suspect, former parliamentary speaker Kadri Veseli, of trying to “obstruct and undermine” the tribunal’s work.

“Thaci and Veseli are believed to have carried out a secret campaign to overturn the law creating the Court and otherwise obstruct the work of the Court in an attempt to ensure that they do not face justice,” the statement said. dj/aw (AFP, AP, Reuters, dpa)

Përfaqësimi i diasporë në Shqipëri filloi që me shpalljen e pavarësisë. Gjatë gjithë periudhës, deri më 1946, përfaqësimi mbi këtë bazë vazhdoi. Por u ndërpre me vendosjen e regjimit komunist, kur ish-deputetët një nga një a në grup u zhdukën; një parti u bë përfaqësuese e të gjithë popullit për më se 45 vjet, duke dëshmuar sesa tragjik e qesharak ishte ky projekt i saj.

Me rrëzimin e diktaturës, të gjithë në diasporë shpresonin që ndër vendimet e para të një sistemi që premtonte të ndryshonte do të ishte që vendet e deputetëve nga diaspora në parlament të liroheshin për t’u plotësuar me të zgjedhurit me votat e komuniteteve jashtë. Shembulli i tyre, edukata e tyre demokratike, do të kishte luajtur rolin që sot nuk ekziston për zhvilimin e demokracisë dhe qytetërimit në parlament e jashtë tij.

Por qeveria, kjo diktaturë e zbutur dhe herë e ashpër, sipas konjukturës, sot vlerëson ndihmat a remitencat që diaspora dërgon, ndërsa njerëzit e diasporës nuk i përfill, i injoron, gjoja i mbron, duke bërë propagandë të njëjtë me atë që bënte partia-pushtet në të shkuarën e saj e cila quhet e lavdishme sa herë që bijtë kujtojnë baballarët e tyre kriminelë të luftës së nxehtë e të ftohtë.

“Maxhoranca sot nuk ka frikë nga vota e diasporës”, thotë ministri i saj, kur është kjo frikë që e mban atë në detyrë, sepse nuk është çështja që diaspora të lejohet të votojë, por edhe të ketë përfaqësuesit nga radhët e veta në qeveri e parlament.

THE SCENARIO FOR THE DESTRUCTION OF KOSOVA

Cédric Wermuth: “This is a sad day for #Kosovo and its young generation. Please don’t lose hope. History is on your side. We, the people of Europe, are on your side. We are in this together. “/                

These very meaningful words from the Swiss Member of Parliament (MP) on twitter were addressed to the people of Kosova. It touched the hearts of Albanians on the 3rd of June 2020, the day in which the compromised Parliament of Kosova in Prishtina, used undemocratic manipulations to vote for the Hoti government, controlled by ListaSrpska.

Consequently, Serbia has managed to infiltrate the government of Kosova officially and powerfully. The Deputy Prime Minister Rakić and his friends control the government, intelligence (KIA), the army (KSF) and the Kosova Embassy in America. Serbs celebrated this victory ecstatically along with supporters of Thaçi and Mustafa. This anti-Albanian action was prepared and carried out by the President (not mine) HashimThaçi, directed by Serbian President Vučić, in coordination with the Ambassador Richard Grenell, using LDK leader Isa Mustafa as the main tool. All of them for different reasons (Vučić for Serbian hegemonic interests,Thaçi for personal interests related to incriminating files and corruption, Mustafa as well for personal and corruption interests, while Grenell for career interests) but with the same purpose, to create a puppet government which will be ready to accept and realize the partition of Kosova.       

This was preceded by the overthrowing of the democratic government of hope and anti-corruption Kurti-Osmani, as the main obstacle to their goal. In the implementation of their corrupt plans, they were also helped by the Constitutional Court of Kosova, which enabled the creation of an illegitimate government, instead of deciding for free elections in the interest of the people. Among the first steps of the Hoti government was the abolition of reciprocity with Serbia. This decision directly violated the sovereignty of the state and further weakened Kosova’s already inferior position in dialogue with Serbia. Moreover, this has helped Vučić’s party in the elections that took place on June 21st. The scenario of Thaçi-Vučić-Grenell, in search for an easy solutionincluding a possible partition of Kosova, is planned to be carried out during the summer of 2020, the latest by October. In his interview for Fox News, Mr. Grenell admitted that such a plan exists but blamed former national security advisor John Bolton for it.

Everything is expected to be done by using false promises, intimidation, deception, improvisation, manipulations, distortion of facts, false propaganda, various pressures and whenever possible through secret talks. The agreement will be presented as comprehensive with mutual recognition, without mentioning the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Kosova. According to them, this will be the “last chance” to solve the Kosova problem, otherwise America will “give up” on Kosova. Beware Albanians, there is danger of another “invasion” by Serbia. Some of their manipulation tactics will include the following rhetoric. They will say,there will be no change of borders. Instead, they will label this as “determination, adaptation, easy correction or demarcation” which is “normal” when two states need to recognize each other. This, of course, is false. They will insist that this means giving the “necessary” part of northern Kosovo and creating some “zajednica” and extraterritorial spaces, in exchange for some “meadows and forests” in the Presheva Valley. They will try to explain that in the interest of “reconciliation” with Serbia and the creation of a “permanent friendship”, all war crimes carried out by any side, must be forgiven. Do these heartless people know how much Kosova has given for this independence for centuries?! Hundreds of thousands killed and massacred in the cruelest way, perished and raped, burned houses and lost lands! All concessions ended on February 17th, 2008, once and for all. Ambassador Grenell must understand this.

Grenell’s attempt to treat the people of Kosova “nicely” and persuade them to give up land for “recognition” began with the unblocking of the MCC funds immediately after the reciprocity was lifted. In addition, America will help Kosova with other financial means, equipment for the army, police, etc. Along with the development of the dialogue, Grenell will implement other economic agreements similar to those useless agreements related to the air and rail that will “help” the economy of Kosova. This was proven by Grenell’s hasty invitation to meet with leaders of Serbia and Kosova’s illegitimate government, Thaçi and Hoti at the White House on June 27, without EU participation. The scams will continue by promoting Hoti as “very tough negotiator” even though Thaçi will exercise full control of the process. The real leaders that were voted by the majority of citizens of Kosova, Kurti and Osmani, will be deceptively presented as “dangerous politicians whom America does not like.” Efforts will be made to tarnish their personal and family life. All the real frauds will be pushed with unprecedented pressure on the members of parliament to approve the “very valuable historical agreement” for Kosova. After the approval in the parliament, if they see the need to strengthen it, they can put the agreement in a referendum which will be the result of various pressures on the people of Kosova. They will insist that this is what America wants! Do not be fooled. In the expected protests of the people and Vetëvendosje (VV), SHIK’s hooligans will infiltrate to create excesses in order to extinguish them by force and to declare VV an extremist organization, “guilty” of all the problems of Kosova. Serbia and Lista SRPSKA will be “very unhappy” but will accept it with “great pain”.

The next hurdle for them will be to overcome the problem with the European Union, especially with Germany and Chancellor Angela Merkel. Grenell will present the “historic” agreement to them as “a great achievement with the full consent of both parties.” There is nothing wrong with it, the two Germanys have also merged while the Czech Republic and Slovakia have parted peacefully without any problems for Europe! It is unlikely that this will be rejected and blocked by Europe. The last act is the movement and adaptation of NATO troops and the Serbian army to the new situation on the ground. With the entry of the Serbian army into the lands of Kosova, it will be lost forever and will cease to exist as a viable state. By this act, the betrayal of Thaçi and his servant Mustafa against Kosova is perpetuated. For both, the process of destroying Kosova ends, but not for Serbia.

Kosova’s transformation into an unstable and dysfunctional state, for Serbia, is only the starting point for achieving the final goal, its return to Serbia as a province of Kosovo and Metohija, based on UN Resolution 1244, or the final partition with Albania by even securing access to the Adriatic Sea, a long-standing dream of Serbian-Russian hegemony. For this, Serbia has secured the support of another potential Albanian traitor, the Prime Minister Edi Rama. To do so, they must discredit the signed agreement as a temporary and unfair solution for Serbia. Thaçi, exploited and stomped on, would become useless for Serbia, his criminal files will somehow come to light and he would end up in prison. The Serbian people would start with protests, roadblocks and various incidents. They will demand a new referendum. If it deems it necessary, Serbia would eliminate Vučić from the political scene due to Kosmet’s “sell-out”. New Serbian politicians would call for further negotiations until the final destruction of Kosova. I hope that these predictions of mine and others who love Kosova wholeheartedly, prove to be wrong.        

All these misfortunes are made possible thanks to the mistakes and misdeeds of Thaçi and the political class that ruled Kosova after the death of President Ibrahim Rugova. They are numerous, namely: “footnote” in the Declaration of Independence, land lost in demarcations with Macedonia and Montenegro, active lobbying for the partition of Kosova, association of Serbian municipalities, legalization of criminal structures in the North, providing amnesty for Serbian criminals, failure to get visa liberalization, failure to protect the rights for our brothers in Eastern Kosova, corruption, endless poverty and the emptying of Kosova. The facts about gradual destruction of Kosova are indisputable. In Albach, Austria, on the 25th of August, 2018, when asked by the moderator whether the final agreement with Serbia meant “border adjustments”, Thaçi replied: “Yes, I am in favor of border correction because we need a peace agreement with Serbia”. Serbian President Vučić, sitting next to him, very surprised whispers to him “don’t tell them” thus and continues to smile ironically until Thaçi finishes the answer. After this, he has the audacity to appear before the people with false utopian statements that he is not giving anything to Serbia, but he is asking for the unification of Eastern Kosova. With this deception of the century his political career should have ended. The question is, why do the Albanian people tolerate bad politicians so much and for so long?

 SAVING KOSOVA FROM DESTRUCTION   

Serbia, aided by Thaçi and friends, worked diligently for 21 years, by spending millions of dollars in Washington, in order to bring Kosova into this very difficult situation, before capitulation. This is the last moment to stop Serbia’s rampage and to break its teeth as was done in 1999. The popular resistance began with the free democratic elections on the 6th of October and the victory of VV led by Albin Kurti and the LDK’s Rugovian part led by Vjosa Osmani. Kurti and Osmani being overthrown with undemocratic means and steeling of power by the corrupt class is a temporary loss. Saving Kosova is still possible.       

The first step in saving Kosova begins with removing the most negative and dangerous figures from political power, HashimThaçi and Isa Mustafa, as well as to overthrow the “srpska” government and illegitimate Prime Minister AvdullahHoti. It would be easiest and best if Thaçi would be removed by the real successors of the KLA to the line of Commander AdemJashari within the PDK, while Isa Mustafa by the real descendants of the line of President Ibrahim Rugova within the LDK. If this is not done as soon as possible, however, before the end of the dialogue with Serbia, then this task belongs to the people of Kosova. All methods of active resistance that culminate in permanent popular protests with legitimate demands for Thaçi’s resignation, democracy, free elections and against the dialogue for the partition of Kosova should be used. Peaceful protests can be organized by Vetëvendosje, which on the 12th of June showed that it has the support and the ability to carry them out in a dignified manner. Although, it would be even better if they were done by student organizations with the support of VV and all other people. In these protests, breaking or damaging private and state buildings and properties should not be permitted. In addition, the protest should not be carried out in front of the US Embassy under any circumstances. It is a symbol of the existence of Kosova and the entire Albanian nation. Anti-American slogans should never be used.

At the same time, the lobbying activities by the strong Albanian diaspora in America, Switzerland, Germany and other democratic countries of importance and influence in solving the Balkan problem must be strengthened and increased. The Albanian-American Civic League in America, led by former Congressman Joseph DioGuardi and Balkan Affairs Adviser Shirley Cloyes DioGuardi, has 30 years of professional expertise and experience in very successful lobbying in Washington. This League could secure hearings in the US Congress, where Ambassador Grenell or other administration officials will be obliged to explain and justify their policy towards Kosova. Serbia has succeeded in penetrating certain White House officials with deceptive anti-Albanian propaganda, by playing the role of the victim, but in Congress this will fail because the facts and the rights are on our side. The League has the right and can very successfully organize mass demonstrations in front of the White House and the UN with demands for free democratic elections in Kosova, against the partition of Kosova, for its recognition of existing borders and full membership in the UN. It has the right to demand the release of Ambassador Grenell from the position of mediator due to erroneous policy and open support for Serbia, it has the right and duty to criticize any American official for political and diplomatic mistakes, which in no way the politicians in Kosova and other Albanian lands dare to do. To accomplish this task successfully, the Albanian American Civic League needs material support as in the 1990s, either today or never.

                 EVERYTHING FOR THE FREEDOM OF KOSOVA        

Now everything is completely clear to the people of Kosova. It is no longer just about the power struggle of political parties. It is about the existence of Kosova as a state and the possibility of losing the freedom. Throughout history, the Albanian people have never agreed to be enslaved, they have resisted and fought with all their might the numerous enemies and traitors of the country. Kosova’s freedom and independence was achieved through war, and should not be lost with dialogue, must not violate the blood of the best sons and daughters of the nation who gave their lives for this freedom. Although the possibility of war has ended with NATO’s entry into the Balkans, the Albanian people cannot agree to the loss of freedom. These long-suffering people have the right to defend freedom by all means, even with armed resistance if necessary. Freedom cannot be given away at the request of a “friend” and does not surrender to the force of the enemy. Kosova and the Albanian people are stronger than Serbia. Freedom is more precious than life!

I would like to end this article with my response on twitter to the honorable Swiss MP: -Thank you very much Mr. Cédric, the support of great people like you helps Kosova in the fight for justice and democracy. Together we will win!

VJOSA VURI PIKËN MBI “I”

     “Strukturat vendimmarrëse, prej shumë viteve nuk janë provuar me votën zgjedhore të anëtarësisë. Rrjedhimisht, u mungon legjitimiteti i partisë, për marrjen e vendimeve në emër të saj”, – deklaroi nënkryetarja e Kryesisë të LDK-së, Vjosë Osmani, në një televizion të Kosovës.
     Realisht, këtë të vërtetë e kemi thënë dhe përsëritur, përtej një dekade, si një absurditet për një parti, që thirret dhe lavdërohet për një demokraci të brendshme të lartë partiake. Por, për të nxitur reagimin e atyre që atakohen, nga kjo e vërtetë e hidhur, duhet të kesh një çik pushtet e pozitë.
     Deklarata e Vjosës denoncon të vërtetën e heshtur, të fshehtën publike, e cila ka qenë ndër vite burim i së keqes për LDK-në. Kjo e keqe e madhe, është mbuluar me votën fiktive aklamative. Për një votim të tillë mashtrues, është përgaditur edhe logjistika përkatëse: “Votimi bëhet me votë të fshehtë, por, Kuvendi mund të vendosë edhe ndryshe, pra, me votim të hapur, aklamativ, ngritje dore!” Thënë troç: votim alla komuniste!
    “Peshku qëlbet në kokë”, – thotë populli. Dhe, vërtet, anashkalimi i votës së fshehtë, zëvendësimi me atë aklamative, filloi në Kryesinë Qendrore të LDK-së, për t`u shtrirë në Degë, Nëndegë, Aktiva. Dhe, kjo mënyrë votimi u shoqërua me përjashtimin e debatit, mungesën e konkurrencës së ndershme dhe kulmoi me votimin e hapur, aklamativ, duke e braktisur votimin e fshehtë demokratik. Që këtej fillon  zbehja e frymës rugoviane, krijimi i klanit brenda Kryesisë, etja për karrierë, që shpie në përçarjen, që kulmon me ndarjen e saj.
     Ndryshimi i statutit, dhënia fuqi mbretërore kryetarit, konsolidimi i po atij klani që ndau LDK-në; anashkalimi edhe i Kryesisë, deri ke marrëveshja me PDK-në; shkelja e amanetit të Presidentit Rugova “të mos lejohet ngritja e Hashimit në pozitë, sepse është i rrezikshëm për Kosovën”, fundosi rugovizmin në LDK-e, duke ruajtur vetëm emrin dhe braktisur përmbajtjen.
      “Me çfarë kuti matë Dauti”?!
     “Është difekt i madh rrëzimi i qeverisë së PAN-it”,- deklaroi anëtari i Kryesisë Skënder Hyseni, duke rënë në kundërshti të hapur me strukturat e partisë, përfshi edhe Kryesinë. Dhe, askush nuk e gjykoi. Përkundrazi, “në vend të kafshimit, e puthën”, duke e bërë  sekretar për marrëdhënie të jashtme të LDK-së.
     “Mos bërja e koalicion me VV-në, do të ishte gabim historik i LDK-së, – bëri thirrje Vjosë Osmani, përgjatë bisedimeve, pothuaj se, idioteske, për krijimin e qeverisë VV-LDK. Dhe, u bë nami! Krahasoni heshtjen e deklaratës fatale të Skënderit, me atë reale të Vjosës! Dhe, këtu vjen në shprehje ajo pyetja rimore: “Me çfarë kuti matë Dauti”?!
     Mocioni i mosbesimit, për vetërrëzim të Qeverisë VV-LDK, është një bllof i madh i LDK-së, përkatësisht, i klanit Mustafa. Bërja e Mocionit për Qeverinë Kurti, fillimisht, fshehurazi Vjosës dhe ndoca të tjerëve në Kryesi, flet për mujëshinë e klanit, nëntokën e tij, flirtet me PAN-in, mbrojtjen e interesave vetjake e grupore klanore. Dhe, kjo, tashmë, është e lexueshme dhe dëmton skajshëm LDK-në.

     Lëreni Vjosën në fisnikërinë e saj, merruni me problemin!
     Kreu i LDK-së, Isa Mustafa, me klanin e tij, qëllimshëm, merren me Vjosën, gjithnjë në përgaditjen e anëtarësisë dhe të opinionit, për goditjen e saj. “Vjosa po kritikon, po sulmon LDK-në; po kundërshton zbatimin e vendimeve të saj!” “Zonja Osmani ka devijuar nga kursi që mbanë LDK-ja!” E deri ke thirrja për linçim: “Ata që kundërshtojnë vendimet e partisë, s`mund të mbajnë poste drejtuese!” Dhe, këtu kulmon faza e eleminimit politik. Mendje akademikësh, por, veprime e fjalë prapanice!
     Qëndrimet e Vjosa Osmanit nuk lidhën me individë të caktuar, por me një klan të stazhionuar, uzurpues të partisë dhe flirtues me PAN-istët, që i lidhë biznesi korruptiv. Për rrjedhojë, klani brenda Kryesisë të LDK-së, është fort i shantazhuar nga Hashimi dhe SHIK-u i tij. Sforcimi i presidentit aksidental, për ta bërë pjesë të Parlamentit NISMA-n dhe AKR, si dhe bërjen e zorshme të Qeverisë Hoti, nëpërmjet organizmave zyrtare, të përzgjedhura nga ai, (Hashimi), janë dëshmi e konspiracionit të pistë Isa-Hashim. 
     Pikërisht, këtu fillon plani për dështimin e koalicionit fitues! Këtu fillojnë edhe flirtet konspirative të klanit, brenda Kryesisë të LDK-së, me dy partitë të bandës PAN, përkatësisht, AAK dhe NISMA, madje, fshehurazi të partnerit LVV! Dhe, kjo e implikon dhe e vë në krye të fajësisë LDK-në, për prishjen e parathënë të koalicionit jetëshkurtër LVV-LDK. Taktizimet e tilla mashtruese, besëprera dhe skajmërisht të turpshme, nuk i ka njohur kurrë më parë LDK-ja.
     “Nuk kanë qenë kundërshtimet ndaj partisë, por, ndaj koalicioneve të gabuara, që fondamentin e kanë pasur në krim e korrupsion. LDK e ka ditur për qëndrimet e mia, para se të më kandidojë për kryeministre”, – deklaron Vjosë Osmani. Më qartë dhe më dinjitetshëm nuk ka si të shpjegohet.
     Realisht, Vjosa është mbrotësja më e madhe, më dinjitoze, pikërisht, e LDK-së dhe e elektoratit të saj. Ajo, me guximin intelektual dhe qytetar, edhe pse e vetme, po reziston, për ta mbrojtur LDK-në dhe Kosovën, nga oligarkët, tashmë, uzurpues të të gjithë spektrit partiak politik në Kosovë. Ata janë bashkuar, si kurrë më parë, në mbrojtje të pozitave të tyre partiake, pushtetare dhe biznesore. 
     Prova dhe fakte të reja dëshmojnë se prishja e koalicionit VV-LDK, Mocioni i mosbesimit, deri tek shkarkimi i Qeverisë Kurti, nuk ishte as taksa dhe as shkarkimi i një ministri. Të gjithë kësaj i priu marrëveshja konspirative Hashimi-Isa, me primatin drejtues dhe realizues presidentin fatal, të kurorëzuar me votat e LDK-së, nën presionin kriminal e rrugaçëror ndaj deputetëve të klanit Mustafa.
     Vjosa është prodhim natyral i rugovizmit të dlirë, parimor, stoik e konsekuent. Nëse 165 mijë votat e 6 tetorit 2019, ishin të LDK-së, si bartëse e listës zgjedhore, të 64 mijë votat e zgjedhjeve paraprake, ishin të Vjosë Osmanit. Sepse, ajo i fitoi këto vota, duke qenë e listuar me numrin rendor 81! Ndërkohë që votuesit mund t`i shpërndanin tek 99 kandidatët tjerë për deputetë.
     Shumësia e votave, besimi i madh ke Vjosa, sikur në gjallje të Rugovës, e shpëtoi LDK-në nga rënia e lirë që kishte, pikërisht, në prag të zgjedhjeve. Në këtë rënie LDK-në e kishte katandisur klani, brenda Kryesisë, në krye me mjeshtrin e kalkulimeve intriguese, Isa Mustafën. Simpatia e anëtarësisë dhe e elektoratit, deri në adhurim, për Vjosë Osmanin dhe brezin e Republikës, reformatorët në perspektivë të LDK-së, i tmerroi klanorët. Angazhimi i rinorëve, me frymëzimin rugovian, shtoi entuziazmin dhe ringjalli shpresën për rimëkëmbjen e LDK-së dhe shpresën për ndryshime në Kosovën tonë.
     Vjosë Osmani vendosi të jetë e drejtëpërdrejtë. Ajo nuk preferoi të bëjë diplomaci me anëtarësinë e LDK-së, me votuesit, elektoratin, popullin e Kosovës. Premtimin e dhënë e mbajti, nuk e bëri zhele, si klani i Mustafës. Dhe, vuri pikën mbi “i”, duke denoncuar paligjshmërinë drejtuese në partinë e Rugovës, në partinë e saj LDK-e. Me këtë denoncim zyrtar, risi për të gjithë skenën politike të Kosovës, të cilët e kanë plot gojën demokraci, por, në fakt, e kanë dhjerë atë, pikërisht, me rizgjedhjet partiake aklamative, 99 %-she, siç bënin Stalini, Hitleri, Enveri dhe soji i tyre kriminal e rrugaçërorë.
     Njerëzit që duan të vërtetën, më shumë se vetën, jo rrallë sfidohen në jetë. Megjithatë, asnjëherë në jetë nuk i kam bishtënuar sfidës. Në vitet `60-a, duke lënë modestinë me një anë, unë, natyrisht, me shokë, isha i pari që u përballa me pushtetin, me kërkesat që do të shpaloseshin në demonstratat e vitit 1968.
     Në Shqipëri, edhe pse isha student dhe mësues i privilegjuar, kundërshtova mungesën e demokracisë, diktaturën e egër staliniste dhe e pësova me humbjen e rinisë burgjeve politike.
     Në Kuvendin e 9-të Zgjedhor të LDK-së, duke parë maskaradën zgjedhore, ku u shkelën tri parimet bazë të demokracisë, si: debati i munguar; konkurrenca e përjashtuar dhe votimi i fshehtë demokratik i mohuar, isha kundërshtues i zëshëm i vetëm, me thirrjen e bërë në sallën e Kuvendit: O skllevër të shekullit digjital, këndelluni, mos heshtni, reagoni, kundërshtoni këtë maskaradë zgjedhore të klanit të Isa Mustafës! 
     Vuajtjen time jetësore, e kam kompensuar me ngushëllimin e madh se e vërteta ka qenë gjithëherë në anën time.

       Shpëtimi i LDK-së – legjitimimi i strukturave vendimmarrëse të saj 
     Andaj, ftoj anëtarësinë e LDK-së, Nëndegët dhe Degët e LDK-së, në Kosovë dhe Mërgatë, deputetët, Këshillin e Përgjithshëm, Kryesinë e LDK-së, ta lënë Vjosën në parimësinë dhe fisnikërinë e saj dhe të merren me problemin e madh, që e ngriti, pikërisht, rugovistja Vjosë: paligjshmërinë drejtuese të LDK-së, strukturat e saj, t`i bëjnë të ligjshme, nëpërmjet kthimit të statutit rugovian: debatit të lirë, konkurrencës së ndershme dhe votës së fshehtë demokratike.
     Klani Mustafa e ka mbushur kupën me kohë. Mes mëkateve tjera, e bëri Hashimin president; tërhoqi zvarrë veprimtarën më të shquar për Kosovën në Mërgatë Donikë Gërvallën dhe, së fundi, shkarkon Vjosë Osmanin, kurban të rugovizmit, simbol të parimeve dhe frymës rugoviane.
     Megjithatë, klani duhet ta pranojë humbjen. Të reflektojë dhe të bashkëpunojë me brezin e Republikës, reformatorët, për ta organizuar Kuvendin e jashtëzakonshëm Zgjedhor të LDK-së, për ta ligjësuar udhëheqjen e saj, me votën e fshehtë demokratike. 
     Klanorët aktual, me gjithë prapësitë e bëra, me “leçitjet” rankoviçiane dhe diferencimet millosheviçiane, fituesit e ardhshëm, me votën zgjedhore demokratike, nuk do ta kenë ndjenjën tuaj hakmarrëse. Përkundrazi, me fisnikërinë e tyre, me dashurinë, për LDK-në dhe Kosovën, do të jeni të trajtuar të barabartë, qoftë në procesin zgjedhor, qoftë në udhëheqjen e mëtejmë të partisë. Është në vartësinë tuaj, për të lënë edhe gjurmë pozitive, ashtu siç pranohet merita e udhëheqësit komunist Ramiz Alisë, qasja reale ndaj votës së lirë pluraliste. Shqiptarët harrojnë lehtë të keqen. Ata ia falën Alisë, edhe varjen në litar të bashkëvuajtësit tim, në Burgun e Burrelit, profesorin dhe poetin Avzi Nela, krejt në prag të demokracisë!        Thirrja e kryeparlamentares, Vjosë Osmani, në njerën nga seancat kuvendore të marsit, “ta heqim taksën, por, edhe presidentin, i cili, në konspiracion me Vuçiqin, po rrezikon Kosovën”, ngjalli zemratën e Hashim presidentit. Për tre muaj radhazi presidenti komplotoi kundër saj. Pjesë e këtij komploti u bënë edhe Mustafa me klanin e tij, si pulanë të lagur, në shërbim të Hashimit. Por, të fortë e mujësharë, brenda LDK-së, për të goditur cilindo që guxon të denoncojë pisllëqet e tyre. Klanorët festuan, në një restorant të Podujevës, shkarkimin e simbolit të partisë rugoviane, Vjosë Osmanin! Thonë se “turpi nuk ka mbytë askënd!” Edhe zvarranikët do vazhdojnë të frymojnë.
     Anëtarësia e LDK-së, e shpërfillur dhe e poshtëruar, nga uzurpatorët e partisë, pa fije legjitimiteti, është shokuar nga goditja e radhës. Të shantazhuar nga PAN-i dhe SHIK-u i tij, klani brenda Kryesisë të LDK-së, harroi dhe shqëlmoi, të paktën, 6 (gjashtë) premtimet e bëra përgjatë fushatës elektorale. Megjithatë, anëtarësia e LDK-së, por, edhe elektorati i zhgënjyer nga klanorët dhe abstenues në zgjedhje, duhet t`i bashkojnë forcat, për ta ringritur moralin dhe besimin në LDK-në klasike të kryetarit Rugova. E ardhmja u përket qendresëtarëve dhe assesi ikanakëve. LDK-ja ka qenë dhe mbetet e vetmja shtëpi e jona. Ndaj, ta ruajmë familjen tonë të madhe.      Mos harroni porosinë e Presidentit Rugova: “Ne s`kemi njerëz për të humbur”. Aq më pak luftarakën dinjitoze, Vjosë Osmani, e cila, së fundi, trazoi shpirtërat e krimit dhe kriminelëve, madje, pavarësisht përkatësive partiake: “Unë me Albinin, (por edhe me dreqin e të birin), do të luftoj, deri në fund, për çkapjen e shtetit të Kosovës!” Vjosa, tashmë, është dëshmuar për mbajtjen e premtimit, të besës së dhënë. Ndërkohë që Mustafa dhe Hoti thonë se “nuk kemi ardhur në pushtet, për t`i shkarkuar bordet!” Kauza, diametralisht, të kundërta me Vjosën. Dhe, “këtu flen lepuri!” Të tjerat janë zhurmime, për ta kamufluar një të vërtetë fort të hidhur.

Në këtë botë nuk ka asgjë të re; asnjë pëllëmbë tokë të pashkelur. Paraardhësit kanë kaluar në të gjithë terrenin e shtrirjes së jetës njerëzore, duke e prekur me të gjitha shqisat, majat e larta deri poshtë në lugina. Për të gjitha gjërat ata kanë thënë fjalën e tyre dhe janë kujdesur për ‘to, njësoj si njerëzit e sotëm.

Thuhet se Solomoni i mençur përcaktoi se si, ku, kur dhe sa larg njera tjetrës duhej të mbilleshin pemët për të qenë prodhuese. Priftërinjtë romakë patën vendosur se sa shpesh një fermer mund të shkonte në tokën e fqinjit për të mbledhur frytet që binin nga pemët, për të mos lejuar që ato të prisheshin a shkeleshin. Dhe fermeri largohej paprekur a dëmtuar pjesën që i përkiste fqinjit. Hipokrati madje ka lënë udhëzime se si njeriu duhet t’i presë thonjtë, as më të shkurtër e as më të gjatë, duke caktuar edhe skajet e gishtërinjve.

Të gjitha sa njeriu provon gjatë jetës – hidhërime, gëzime, urrejtje, dashuri, mendime – janë po aq të lashta sa njeriu i parë, dhe përsëriten; këto janë masa me të cilat është matur edhe gjendja e tij që nga kohët më të largta. Por, është aftësia e njeriut që kurrë nuk është matur. Po t’a dinin se si, me siguri të parët tanë do ta kishin matur, dhe ne sot do të dinim gjithashtu ta masnim – – është terreni i vetëm i pashkelur.

Kështu, njeriu nuk duhet gjykuar se çfarë mund të bëjë ose të mos bëjë, sepse kjo nuk është provuar ose nuk dihet. Cilat do qofshin dështimet e tua tani, mos u mërzit, sepse nuk ka njeri që është në gjendje të thotë se ke dështuar në atë që vetëm t’i e di se si dhe sa shumë ke punuar, je munduar me trup, zemër, mendje e papushim.
