PRISHTINË, 23 Mars 2016-B.Jashari/.-Presidentja e Republikës së Kosovës, Atifete Jahjaga, sot në Washington pritet të takohet me zëvendëspresidentin e SHBA-ve, Joe Biden.“Sot në Washington pritem në Shtëpinë e Bardhë nga Zëvendëspresidenti amerikan Joe Biden. Krenare për marrëdhëniet e fuqishme ndërmjet Kosovës dhe Shteteve të Bashkuara të Amerikës”, ka shkruar në ‘facebook’ Presidentja kosovare Jahjaga, e cila përfundon mandatin në muajin e ardhshëm.Herën e kaluar, në 25 nëntor 2015, Presidentja e Republikës së Kosovës, Atifete Jahjaga, u takua në kryeqytetin e Kroacisë Zagreb me Zëvendëspresidentin e Shteteve të Bashkuara të Amerikës, Joe Biden, derisa po merrte pjesë në Samitin Bërdo-Brioni, me ftesë të Presidentes së Republikës së Kroacisë, Kolinda Grabar-Kitaroviq dhe Presidentit të Republikës së Sllovenisë, Borut Pahor.Presidentja Jahjaga dhe Zëvendëspresidenti Biden diskutuan për zhvillimet në Kosovë dhe rajon dhe përparimin e arritur në aspiratat e integrimit evropian dhe euroatlantik. Presidenti Biden rikonfirmoi mbështetjen e pakursyer të Shteteve të Bashkuara të Amerikës për përparimin e Kosovës, theksonte njoftimi i Presidencës kosovare i dërguar nga Zagrebi.
