Who will Adnan Januzaj decide to play for?/

When you are a young and talented soccer star, everybody wants a piece of you, and not only the top club teams in the world. When you are eligible to play for more than just one country, you will soon find yourself in the middle of a tug of war between these countries.
That is exactly what is happening with the hugely talented 18-year-old Manchester United star Adnan Januzaj, who has three countries fighting over him. While Adnan was born in Belgium, he is also eligible to play for Albania through his father, while he can also become eligible to play for England in a few years.

This has left a bit of a dilemma for young Januzaj, who has admitted that he will leave the final decision up to his father. It seems unlikely that Adnan Januzaj will play for Albania, since Adnan’s father accused them of having a “lack of professionalism” in trying to recruit the youngster.

It is most likely that Adnan Januzaj will choose to play for Belgium, since he will not be eligible to play for England until 2016 and it is unlikely that he will want to wait that long to make his international debut. Adnan Januzaj recently signed a new five year deal with Manchester United and he certainly has a great future in the game.
